UNITE SoCal: Celebrating a Mother's Strength -
About this Event

There is nothing a mother will not do for her child. There are only things she can't.

UNITERs of Southern California,

This May, UNICEF USA is asking for your help to support mothers in being strong for their children when they need it most. Join your UNITE Team for an evening discussion and film screening highlighting the importance of Early Childhood Development (ECD) programs, along with opportunities to take action in support of UNICEF USA's Mother's Day Campaign to raise your voices for mothers everywhere!

Join us for a special presentation from UNICEF USA staff on UNICEF's Early Childhood Development programming to help the world's most vulnerable children, followed by announcements from your UNITE: Los Angeles Council on ways you can take action!

In collaboration with other foundations and partners, UNICEF presents the documentary, "The Beginning of Life." The film emotionally brings to life the science behind the importance of loving relationships in a child's early years and how investing in early childhood development can create a better world. Watch interviews with experts and footage of parents and children from nine countries across four continents.
