UNICEF USA: Child Rights in Your Miami Community
About this Event

Come learn from UNICEF USA staff about the base of UNICEF UUSA’s work: child rights! Join us on Thursday, April 6from 12:30 PM-1:30 PM at the Graham Center Room 305 at Florida International University’s campus.

UNICEF USA staff and Miami UNICEF volunteers will be hosting a participatory training to learn about what are child rights, how to implement in your work, and why child rights are so important to UNICEF.

This is an active, facilitation-based event where you can engage directly with learning about human rights, international treaties, and UNICEF USA’s work. The training will help to bring these global concepts down to the local level to benefit children and adolescents in your work and studies.

Global Learning Medallion credits will be given for your attendance.

The event is open to the public, which includes all FIU students, faculty, partner organizations,   or anyone interested .

There will be an additional opportunity to speak with UNICEF USA staff about how to volunteer in Miami.

UUSA would like to thank the Global Learning Medallion staff and our amazing Miami volunteers for helping to make this training possible.
