UNICEF Unite Miami would like to cordially invite you to our Mother's Day Brunch in the name of our mothers—or any woman who has been an inspiration to us.

All proceeds will go to UNICEF USA Eliminate Project that aims to help put an end to maternal and neonatal tetanus (MNT) worldwide, which is a cruel, centuries-old disease.


MENU:

-Bagels, Croquetas and Eggs

-Blueberry Pancakes with Lemon Cream
-Denver Hash-Brown Egg Nests

SPECIAL GUESTS:
-Dance performance by Marisol Blanco, Master Teacher and graduate of Cuba’s prestigious Superior Institute of Arts (ISA) bachelor dance teacher and The National School of Arts (ENA) professional dancer, teaches Afro-Cuban Folkloric and Popular Dance, as well as, other forms of traditional dance from around the world. She is the founder  and owner of Sikan AfroCuban Dance Project.  

-Tradional musical perfomance by  Grupo Naidy. They play marimba and drum music known as currulao, a strikingly African-inflected style that has flourished on the Pacific coast of southern Colombia and northern Ecuador (the group's repertoire also embraces juga, arrulo, salve, bunde, alabao, and canto de boga pieces). Led by percussionist Irlando "Maky" Lopez.

-Live music by Alana DaCosta. She uses various mediums as a creative community builder, artist activist, singer/songwriter, musician, and poet. Alana’s eclectic music blends neo-soul with jazz, reggae, hip hop and a drop of funk. A graduate of the Dillard School of Performing Arts, she excelled in voice and instrumental training. As an international performing artist and previous member of the Howard University Vocal Jazz Ensemble, Alana has performed throughout the United States, Europe and the Caribbean.
