In March of my freshman year, I attended the UNICEF Student Summit in Washington D.C. I was so inspired to learn more about the foundation and many of its campaigns. One in particular that I was interested in was the End Human Trafficking campaign. This year I must complete the MYP Personal Project and the mission of the Personal Project is: "to encourage and enable you to: participate in a sustained, self-directed inquiry within a global context. generate creative new insights and develop deeper understandings through in-depth investigation." I have chosen to create a fundraiser that will benefit the End Trafficking Campaign. I have created a clothing swap event for my friends to swap their clothes and become educated in the connections between fast fashion and human trafficking. Thank you for supporting me and UNICEF.
