A lot of things are happening around the world, particularly in Ukraine. For some people, this peaceful day could mean the end of their world. We should never sit and watch others suffer. As an artist, I believe artworks can make a difference. I created the Art Power project to help the Ukrainian community. The funds from the sale of artworks will be donated to UNICEF’s Emergency Relief Program in Ukraine. A variety of artwork will be available to purchase in digital form, online.
It has been painful to watch the suffering of Ukrainians in the war, especially that of innocent children. Millions of them have been affected by this sudden event. As a student, I have paid close attention to this war and was shocked by all the tragedies that happened to innocent civilians. The methods of helping them are limited, and the best way to achieve this goal is to donate to global agencies that provide these services. As part of our commitment to contribute to the world, we decided to organize a fundraising event in support of UNICEF.
The purpose of My Art Power is to aid Ukraine's children in crisis. The artwork in digital form was created by Ethel Walker School students.
