MLK Day (1/20/20) is being celebarted with City of Houston holiday through a giant parade! The Black Heritage Society invited UNICEF USA Houston to be part of the 42nd Annual MLK Parade in Downtown Houston. It is the longest running MLK parade in the country and this year's Grand Marshal is George Foreman. More info here.
Everyone must wear a UNICEF T-shirt, so if you do not have a UNICEF t-shirt, please email or text me your size. If you have a UNICEF t-shirt.
UNITERS will meet (Allen Pkwy & Taft) which is the intersection before that giant building that says 'Service Corporation International'. Our check in time is sharp at 8.30am. I will be there at 8am! No late admission will be accepted because parade starts in exact order given to us. UNICEF USA will provide t-shirts to those registered to participate. You may register on the spot if any spots available. Only registered individuals may join UNITE in the parade. Thank you for pre-registering.
