Happy Hour @ Standard Beer Garden

Come join UNICEF's NextGeneration for a casual catch up at the Standard Biergarten from 6:30-8:30pm on Thurs, 3/23!

Anyone is welcome. Feel free to bring a friend or two!  We will be gathered at the two tables blocked off in the back area. You can text (718) 406-5228 if you have trouble finding us.

Members of the NextGen board will be there and can speak about the organization for those who are interested in getting involved.

Attendees are encouraged to make a $25 donation for UNICEF's earthquake relief work in Syria and Turkey.

• UNICEF has been working around the clock to provide life-saving assistance to those affected by the earthquakes.
• In Turkey, UNICEF has distributed winter clothes, electrical heaters, and blankets to nearly 277,000 people, including over 163,000 children.
• UNICEF is procuring life-saving vaccines and cold chain storage equipment, along with hygiene supplies to 258,000 people, including 148,000.
• In Syria, UNICEF has reached more than 487,100 people with life-saving water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) services and supplies, including water trucking, solid waste management, desludging of septic tanks, and the provision of family hygiene kits and other lifesaving supplies.
