Draw to Congress
About this Event

As I'm sure you know, we have a crisis of human rights here in America. We see it in the migrant and refugee camps and detention centers along our Southern border, and in the classrooms where children are bullied for their brown skin and native language.  All of it is being fueled by an unfit and unjust administration.

Let's use our creativity to do something about it! This month I've partnered with UNICEF USA to hold a Draw to Congress event in support of their efforts to create a safer environment for refugee and migrant children in America.

On Saturday, March 30, from 4-6PM we will gather to make artworks and poems to advocate for policies that battle against:

Separation of Families

Detainment of Children

Threats to the Physical and Mental Health of Children

Xenophobia and Stigma

After, I will deliver these works to our New York representatives, Diblasio, Gillibrand, and Schumer and ask them to share these works with fellow members of their Party.
