Are you interested in growing as a Child Advocate? Join us for Child Rights Community Conversations on every other Thursday at 8pm ET from Aug 20th to Oct 29th. Together, we will virtually gatherUNICEF New Englanders and explore child rights topics inspired by the free Child Protection: Children's Rights in Theory and Practice course by Harvard University on EdX. Every week, we will deepen our understanding on child rights through collaborative discussions across the UNICEF New England community. Step into your power as a champion for child rights and create the positive change you want to see in the world for children!

How to prepare?

  • If possible, sign up to take the free Child Protection: Children's Rights in Theory and Practice course by Harvard University on EdX

  • Review the recommended readings and/or videos of the week

  • Research and reflect on how these issues impact your own local and/or global community

  • Bring an open mind, questions on the topic, and any insights from the materials and/or your own research to our engaging discussions!
