Boston University's UNICEF Campus Initiative invites you to participate in our annual Water Walk for 2021! The goal of this event is to raise awareness and funds for UNICEF's WASH program. Many women and children around the world have to go through extreme measures to secure water for their households, including walking an average distance of 6K. Through our Water Walk, participants will imitate this by walking approximately 6 kilometers (or 3.7 miles) in their own neighborhood. During the walk, we ask participants to promote their own walk on their social medias to raise further awareness with the hashtag #BUNICEFWaterWalk.
