UNICEF NextGen Bay Area invites you to Alter Egos, an evening of disguises, virtual reality, inspired gifts, music, and an auction.
A virtual reality pop-up experience from UNICEF 360 ° will feature immersive stories from the field.
While some may use alter egos as a way to hide, they can also reveal a person’s most authentic self. Natural disasters and moments of crisis have a way of drawing people’s true natures out of the woodwork — first responders, helpful neighbors, and heroes. Emergency relief can provide immediate and long-term necessities for people in need — food, water, shelter, protection, or physical and mental health care. But most of all, it’s a bright beacon of hope, offering comfort to people in the darkest of times so they know they’re not alone.
Attire: Cocktail attire required. Masks and disguises encouraged.
